IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES

The Weston receivership is a liquidation, and therefore subject to the deadlines imposed by applicable law, receivership court orders, and internal policies set by the Receiver.  Below are the important dates which may affect your claims and rights against Weston.  Please Contact Us if you have any questions or concerns.

August 8, 2022 – Weston ordered into receivership by the Second Judicial Circuit Court of Leon County, Florida.

September 7, 2022, at 12:01 a.m. – Insurance policies issued by Weston are cancelled as of 12:01 AM, but associated claims remain.

August 8, 2023 – The Claims Filing Deadline for claims against Weston assets.  Proofs of Claim filed after this date will be treated as “late-filed” and may only be paid as allowed by Florida Statutes Section 631.181 or by the court.

Date TBD – The Claims Bar Date for claims against Weston assets.  Proofs of Claim filed after this date will be disregarded and will not be entitled to share in a distribution of receivership funds.
